They are divided into gray ductile iron pipes and spheroidal graphite cast iron pipes according to their materials. According to the form of interface, it can be divided into flexible interface, flange interface, self anchored interface and rigid interface. The flexible ductile iron pipe is sealed with rubber ring, the flange interface spheroidal graphite cast iron pipe is fixed with flange, and the inner pad rubber flange gasket is sealed; the rigid interface is usually large, and the straight pipe is inserted and the cement is sealed with cement. The process has been basically eliminated.
According to their manufacturing methods, they can be divided into: sand type centrifugal plug straight pipe, continuous cast iron straight pipe and sand type iron pipe.
According to the material used, it can be divided into: gray iron pipe, spheroidal graphite cast iron pipe and high silicon iron pipe.

It can adapt to large axial displacement and transverse deflection, and is suitable for indoor drainage pipes of high-rise buildings, especially for earthquake areas. From the interface form, it can be divided into: W type flexible cast iron drain pipe, B type flexible cast iron drain pipe and A type flexible cast iron drain pipe.
The nominal diameter of the continuous gray ductile iron pipe is 75~1200 millimeters. Straight tube length is 4 meters, 5 meters and 6 meters; according to wall thickness, it is divided into three grades: LA, A and B. The nominal diameter of sand mold centrifugal grey nodular cast iron pipe is 200-1000 mm, and the effective length is 5 meters and 6 meters. High strength, good toughness, thin wall, less metal consumption, and high pressure.
The nominal diameter of the ball ink cast iron pipe is 80~2200 millimeters. Compared with the gray ductile cast iron pipe, it has large strength, good toughness, thin tube wall, less metal consumption and can bear higher pressure. The effective length is 5 meters, 6 meters and 8 meters, and P and G two are divided according to the thickness of the wall. It is the development direction of ductile iron pipe. The ball ink cast iron pipe is made of low phosphorus and low sulphur cast iron water produced by iron smelting blast furnace. It is cast by the current international advanced centrifugal casting, annealing process, water cooled metal centrifugal casting machine, after annealing, socket dressing, water pressure test, lining cement, cement lining and cement lining. It has a high strength, high elongation and corrosion resistant steel frame with high strength, high elongation and corrosion resistance.
The connection between pipe and pipe is in the form of plug-in or flange interface, which can be divided into flexible interface and rigid interface according to function.
